I Love It When A Plan Comes Together.

This Wednesday(USA)/Thursday(Ireland,UK) sees the launch of A-Team 'Shotgun Wedding' Issue 1 of 4., and to celebrate us Micks are producing a week of Team-themed pieces. I'll start the ball rolling here with what the wife calls my 'Mount Rushmore' pic of the lads, and rest assured that many more kick-ass drawrings of the boyos by the Micks will be on display here throughout the week.

Please do pick up the first issue of the book, as it really is rather good. Well, the writing by Tom Waltz and Joe Carnahan is anyway, it's dawn by some hack. The action, humour and team-dynamic all really ring true to the original series, while instantly relocating proceedings to a much more contemporary setting.
Lots of things blow up real, real good.

Did you draw the logo by hand, jeasus! Nice piece, gonna be a fun week

Yep, was just messing about, which turned into the logo, then chucked the lads on top. The usual amount of scrutiny and soul-searching went into this one.

I like the rendery b&w 'colouring' on top of the pencil art. Looks smooth. Jac's right though, Wednesday has a d in it. And it's capitalised.

Nice work sir, yeah, i like the subtle tones and all the drawsyness but i think it's the way you incoporated the logo into the image is what works best.

(i like the pencil-lines around the logo too. They make it look like plans. Military plans)
